Sample Degree Program Plan

These sample degree programs illustrate possible Bachelor of Science degree programs at Empire State College, an arts and science college of the State University of New York. For most students, some of the credit requirements are met through credit that individuals have earned elsewhere and/or credit earned through experiential learning. There is also some flexibility in the choice of courses that will allow you to meet Empire State College's expectations, and your educational goals and interests. Through Empire State College, you can earn a degree in Business, Management and Economics, or in Community and Human Services, with a concentration in a number of areas. All concentrations fit within the general guidelines for degrees at Empire State College. In addition to studies offered on the Web, students in New York State can blend independent studies or small group studies offered through more than 30 locations.
