The faculty member was looking for an alternative to posting a 15 minute video presentation on the web. The video included only head-shots of the speakers.
The Solution
We extracted the audio from the source tape and converted it to web-friendly MP3 as well as selected still images from the video. The result is a succession of screen-captures that slowly change throughout the audio presentation.

What is Needed to Create a Narrated Stills (Multiple-Images)
When submitting a request for a narrated still slide show, you will need to provide the text, audio and images. CLT does provide assistance in recording digital audio and image creation/selection.
CLT also provides assistance in extracting screen stills and audio from video tapes.
The instructional technologist may expound upon the overall design of the slide show interface based upon the size of the image, narration and/or layout of the course document.
