Empire State College's Central Arts Gallery in East Syracuse will host an closing reception and panel for a show that explores the politics of African textiles and t-shirts. Kangas (a rectangular, printed wrap worn by women) and t-shirts displaying various themes will be the focus of a panel discussion with two visiting graduated students from Yale University.

4:30-6:00pm, the Utica Unit will host an opening for the student exhibit in the Crystal Scriber Gallery, “American Feedsacks” by Empire State College student Renee Andre. More information here.
