Work with the interactive map (below) to locate countries in the Spanish-speaking world. During this period, you should also identify two objectives you have for this course. Some possible ideas might be: to learn about food in Mexico, to become familiar with some values that Spanish speaking people share, to understand how similar or different they are from English speaking people in the USA, to learn about ecoturism in Costa Rica so you could go and visit. If you are having difficulty accessing the map below, please refer to our text list.

What is Needed to Create a Mouseover Illustration?

  • For a reproduction of printed material (e.g. textbook, pamphlet, etc), you will need to provide CLT with a copy of the written permission from the copyright holder to reproduce the image and post it in an online course.
  • When submitting a request, you will need to provide all of the text and captions as well as a general idea of what you want to get across. The instructional technologist may expound upon your original idea to maximize your learning objectives.
  • Use this downloadable worksheet to help organize your thoughts. The worksheet is in rich-text format (.rtf) and is compatible with most word processing software.
