Joseph Bruchac is a nationally acclaimed Native American storyteller and writer, who has authored more than 70 books of nonfiction, fiction and poetry for adults and children. His best-selling books from the Keepers of the Earth series are environmental classics. His honors include the 1998 Writing and Storyteller of the Year Award from the Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers, and the Native Writers Circle of the Americas Lifetime Achievement Award for Literature. He is the founder of the Greenfield Review and lives in upstate New York.
