Military Undergraduates Receive Per Credit Grant for Study

Effective with the Fall 1 term, which starts Sept. 8, Empire State College will award a $7 per credit grant to all active-duty military, guard, reservists and veterans up to a maximum of 12 credits per term for undergraduate study. This effort to offset education costs will keep the net tuition expense for military students at $250 per credit, the current military tuition assistance cap.

Additionally, the college will continue to waive all fees for these same students except for fees for residency-based courses and service related fees that include charges for returned checks, academic transcripts, and the fee for enrolling in the time-payment plan and any late fees associated with those payments.

This policy will be in effect for the 2014-15 academic year, through the conclusion of the Summer 2 term, Aug. 28, 2015. Return to navigation links
