HUMAN SERVICES PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION (CHS-263544)
Course Description: The ability to critically plan, implement and evaluate programs is essential for human service managers and public administrators at all levels. This course is the middle of a sequence of three courses that normally begins with either Human Service Management or Introduction to Public Administration and concludes with Funding and Human Services or Public Finance and Budgeting. Students develop a program of their choice from start to finish and may focus on newly created grassroots initiatives, a new program focus for an existing non-profit, or a new initiative for a public agency. The course provides an opportunity for students to meet and converse with fellow professionals from across many fields. Important Note: Important Note: This course was renamed effective the Fall 2015 term and was formerly offered as Program Planning and Evaluation. Students who have successfully completed 263544 or completed this course under 263544 should not enroll in this course. Prerequisites: Human Services Management or Introduction to Public Administration or equivalent. This online course is offered through Online Learning.
