Creating BoxPlots

Math Tutorials Home > Statistics Social Sciences

As mentioned, many of the case studies on the RVLS website make use of boxplots to visually compare data sets.

But Excel does not provide a way to create boxplots. To address this deficiency we have created a boxplot macro for Excel. You can use this macro to create boxplots for use in your own analysis.

We've created a separate website where you can download the boxplot macro and learn how it works.

Boxplot Macro Website (opens in a new window)

Take a few minutes to step through the Boxplot Macro website and view the demonstrations. You can download the macro through links on the Boxplot Macro website, or you can use the Downloads link found at the top of each page in this tutorial.
