The theme for the 2011 Environmental/Adirondack Studies Residency is “Ecolutions:” Finding Creative Solutions to Environmental Problems.

The program features a three (or four)-day interdisciplinary residency at Raquette Lake, with students and faculty from all over New York state. During the September 2011 registration period (May 31 through Sept. 9), students select a single 4-credit residency course (and perhaps also a 2-credit pre-residency course) for guided independent study in the fall term. Over the three days, plenary sessions focus on the residency theme and related topics and small group seminars focus on the guided independent study.

*For Empire State College matriculated students only.
All residency courses meet the general education requirements.
