Hudson Valley Residency: Optional Activities

This registration form is for the optional activities associated with the 2011 Hudson Valley Residency.

While at the residency, you may want to take advantage of these guided tours for visitors.

    1. The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt Guided Tour also includes admission to the FDR Presidential Library and Museum. Individual tickets are $14.00 and are valid for two days. If there is enough interest, we can negotiate a group rate.

    2. Across the road from the residency is Val Kill, the home Eleanor Roosevelt “chose…for her retreat, her office, her home, and her "laboratory" for social change during the prominent and influential period of her life from 1924 until her death in 1962.” Guided tours cost $8.00 per person. If there is enough interest, we can negotiate a group rate. Tours to Val Kill are limited so we’ve scheduled Sunday’s activities in a way to allow you to tour the home at 4 p.m. .

If you are interested in one or both of these tours, please print this page, fill out the form below and return it to Amy Ruth Tobol at the Hudson Valley Center. The costs of the tours IS NOT included in the residency fee. You will be expected to pay for the tour at the residency at the latest. When we see how many people are interested in the tours, we will get back to you with the fee amount you will be charged.
