SUNY Empire State College offers an Advanced Certificate in Veterans Services. As part of the college's on-going commitment to veterans, this certificate provides professionals with skills and knowledge they need to support veterans as they transition to various aspects of civilian life.
The certificate is 12-credits and includes three 3-credit required courses, and a 3-credit elective which is selected by the student.

The veteran certificate courses are applicable to the college's Master of Arts in Social Policy, or can be taken as individual courses by anyone with an accredited bachelor's degree.
