    ABOUT THIS SITE
The purpose of the Online Mathematics Library is to provide Empire State College faculty and students with high quality web-based resources for supplementary use in reviewing math concepts, terminology, and applications that support college level studies requiring calculations, problem solving and quantitative analysis.

    Our Approach
First, we examined the college's math courses and studies with math component. Next, we identified a variety of exemplary online mathematics resources from within Empire State College and beyond. Given the wide range of student skills and abilities, we selected resources that covered all aspects of mathematics studies -- from basic arithmetic to college level calculus. All sites were evaluated using the criteria listed in the Selection of Resources page. Recognizing that students have different learning styles, we created icons to help our users select the resources that best fit their needs and further categorized each of the resources as self assessments, interactive tutorials, readings, practice problems, etc. Last, we identified each resource as a personal web site, one that has an academic or commercial affiliation
