Canadian citizens may apply to study with Empire State College. The independent nature of Empire State College’s degree programs makes this an ideal place for self-reliant, mature international students with strong English skills who do not need or want the support of a traditional campus to get a degree.

Empire State College does not offer a traditional college experience because it was designed to meet the needs of busy adults. Therefore, it does not offer residence life experiences and typical opportunities to mingle with other students, both socially and in traditional classrooms.

Prospective students are encouraged to spend some time on the college's web site to determine whether or not Empire State College is a good fit for their educational goals. Information about the requirements for applying to the college can be found below.
