Apply for Financial Aid

2011-2012 year financial aid forms are available for Empire State College enrollments that begin on or after May 16, 2011. Students who plan on attending at Empire State College for enrollments beginning on or after May 21, 2012 should complete the 2012-2013 financial aid forms.

• FAFSA Section: Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid and apply for/update your PIN.

• Federal Direct Loans: Link to complete the Entrance Loan Counseling forms, Master Promissory Notes and the Exit Loan Counseling forms.

• Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS): APTS is a New York state grant program for matriculated undergraduate students attending school for 3 - 11 credits per term. Graduate students and nonmatriculated students are not eligible for APTS. Maximum award for a financial aid year is $2,000. Please note that APTS funding for 2011-2012 is no longer available.

• Tuition Assistance Program (TAP): Link to information and the application for the TAP grant.

• Part-Time TAP: Link to the information and the application forms for the Part-Time TAP grant. Please be aware that students cannot be eligible for both APTS and Part-Time TAP.

• TEACH Grant: Only available to graduate students. Link to information and the applications for the TEACH grant.
