Program Overview

Welcome to UAW-Ford University (UFU) Online at Empire State College. As one of the institutions within UFU's virtual university network, Empire State College's Center for Distance Learning (CDL) offers structured associate and bachelor's degree programs that require no classroom attendance. Students study with CDL from any location where telephone and postal services are available. Courses are delivered via the World Wide Web and print using course materials that include textbooks, workbooks, course guides, video programs, audio cassettes, computer programs and similar resources. Courses use structured learning materials designed for adult independent study, often enabling students to incorporate their own experience as a learning tool.
