Library Workshops

The "Research @ the Library" Workshops are two hour, hands-on classes delivered by the college's librarians. Workshops are offered at many Empire State College regional office locations and delivered virtually to the computer labs at participating regional locations using the Elluminate Live! virtual classroom.

- How to effectively and efficiently do research and navigate the college's extensive online library, which includes searchable access to millions of full-text articles, books and other resources. Ideal for those new to the college, new to using the online library or doing college-level research.

How to Sign Up for a Library Workshop:
To inquire about reserving a seat at your nearest participating College location (it's on a first come, first serve basis), contact the Director of Academic Support at your nearest Regional Center. Note that not every location participates in every scheduled workshop; ask your regional Director of Academic Support for details.

What do I need to participate in the Workshop?:
- Arrive on time
- Have a pen or pencil handy
