|Event Description:||This workshop is designed for students who already have some experience with academic research and want to further refine their skills. We'll discuss easy ways to strengthen your keyword searches to get faster, more relevant results. We'll also talk about how to assess the quality and the usefulness of the material you find. Academic research is all about grounding your argument within a larger scholarly context, so we'll cover how to seamlessly integrate outside sources to support your points without overwhelming you own voice. Please bring a current assignment, research question or a paper-in-progress so that we can tailor the workshop to your needs.|
